Field No. 1 is a singular working knife reduced to what matters: edge, balance, grip, and the quiet assurance of an object made correctly.
Its compact proportions keep it useful all day. Its materials are chosen to age with evidence—not to remain untouched in a drawer.

A 3.625-inch drop-point blade gives Field No. 1 the reach for real work without turning it into a burden. The handle is proportioned for a full, confident grip; the balance sits at—or just behind—the choil.
Certified 52100 steel is heat-treated toward 60–61 HRC, then given a high flat grind and a lightly convex apex for a durable working edge.
